We've been "invited" to two parties - one at J. Crew and one at Halls. The J. Crew event is from 6 to 9 p.m. and features drinks and a special gift to those who spend $100 or more. You don't really need an invite to attend, but we did receive a special heads up email from our friend Sara of Apparently Obsessed, who moonlights at J. Crew while not blogging and raising her little boy.
Halls is open to the public as well and plans to have live models, DJ Mike Scott, a Bar Method demo, drink samples from Snow & Co. and lots of gifts-with-purchase and register-to-wins (including a $1,000 shopping spree, a pair of Frye boots, a Marc by Marc Jacobs handbag/wallet/coin purse bundle and a Mulberry handbag). Sign me up for all of the above!
Halls will also have dress forms on display styled by local bloggers, including our friend Kelly at 26 East. We're hoping for the chance to style one of the dress forms next year! In the meantime, we'll be supporting other bloggers - and entering every damn raffle we see : )
