A few of my favorite (baby) things

I had my first baby shower two weeks ago and have one coming up next weekend. It's so fun! I'm loving all the soft and cuddly gifts I'm receiving. Even newborn diapers are making me happy. Seriously, clean ones smell so good! Matthew things I'm crazy because I keep making him smell the diapers and then touch the soft onesies, while I exclaim, "isn't this sooo soft!"

While, I'm grateful for every item we've received (because seriously, I couldn't afford to do this on my own people!), there are a few things I've really loved getting and wanted to share.

Aden + Anais Bamboo Swaddling Wraps

These swaddling wraps are sooo soft. Kara got us the one on the left. Love the colors!

Boon Lawn Drying Rack

Our counter tops are sure to be covered in bottles and nipples, so this modern drying rack is the perfect item to keep everything in place. Thanks Barb!

Gap Sleeping Sacks 2-pack

My good friend Catherine (and soon-to-be bride!) got us these sleeping sacks and they are heaven. I can't wait to bundle our baby in these. They are just so sweet and so soft.

Bourdreaux's Butt Paste

 Ok, so you're thinking "butt paste is one of your favorite gifts?" But it was! My mom filled our new diaper bag with essentials that I know she thought I wouldn't get excited about, but I loved it! Seeing all the pacifers, butt paste, aquaphor and wipes really sealed the deal for me. We're actually going to be bringing a baby home and using this stuff. It's so fun to already have the diaper bag packed with a few essentials. I can't wait to bring this sweet baby into the world!

And speaking of baby, we had our 3D/4D ultrasound the other day. How. Cute. Is. This. HE/SHE?
